Advantages of using LED work lights in CNC machine tools

1. Energy saving, LED has high luminous efficiency. The luminous efficiency of ordinary incandescent lamps is 15-20LM/W, and the luminous efficiency of LED lamps can reach 60-100LM/W; that is to say, the traditional 60W incandescent lamp can be replaced by a 10W LED lamp; LED lamps also save energy by about 20% compared with fluorescent lamps.
2. Environmental protection, LED is a semiconductor device and does not contain heavy metal elements such as mercury; traditional energy-saving lamps have mercury pollution during the manufacturing process and after use and disposal, while LED lamps do not produce mercury pollution during the manufacturing process and use of energy-saving lamps.
3. Long life, the theoretical life of LED is 100,000 hours. At present, the quality assurance life of LED lamps with better quality is 25,000 hours, the life of incandescent lamps is only 1,000 hours, and the life of fluorescent lamps is more than 7,000 hours.
4. High color rendering index, that is, high color reproduction.
5. LED is DC driven and is more suitable for solar lamps. The life of solar panels is 10-15 years, and the life of LEDs is also relatively long, so the overall maintenance cost of lamps will be reduced a lot; it avoids the maintenance costs caused by frequent replacement of light sources.
